Solution Engineer

About the role

The Solution Engineer will support the sales team in delivering regional security projects, from requirement gathering to on‑site testing and training. This role combines pre‑sales expertise with hands‑on technical implementation across the Safe City and Intelligent Transportation domains.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the sales team in completing regional project sales tasks.
• Collect requirements, design solutions, present proposals, conduct on‑site testing and provide training for specific projects.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers to develop industry customers, explore opportunities, follow project progress and drive project closure.
• Deliver promotion, training and technical guidance for industry‑based products and solutions to internal sales teams and first‑tier distributors.
• Research market demand and competitor offerings to develop regional industry solutions.
• Organise and support product promotion events, exhibitions and customer visits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Communications, Electronics, IT or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in the security industry with pre‑sales and project support responsibilities.
• Proven experience in Safe City and Intelligent Transportation solutions.
• Frequent travel across multiple locations in Nigeria.
• Fluent English (reading, writing and speaking).
