Software Engineer – DevSecOps & Software Design

About the role

The DevSecOps and Software Design Engineer will design, build, secure and optimise enterprise‑scale software solutions and delivery platforms. Working at the intersection of software engineering, architecture and cloud engineering, you will ensure applications are scalable, resilient and secure while driving modern, automated delivery practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable, and resilient software solutions and application architectures.
• Lead cloud adoption, micro‑services and API‑led architecture modernisation initiatives.
• Build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
• Define and enforce engineering standards, architecture principles and best practices.
• Champion DevSecOps practices through automation, security integration and continuous improvement.
• Integrate monitoring, logging, observability and resilience capabilities; support incident resolution and root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development, security, infrastructure and business teams to deliver technology solutions aligned with organisational objectives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of software engineering and DevOps experience, including at least 3 years in a senior technical role.
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise‑scale applications and platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder collaboration skills.
