Senior Sales Engineer

About the role

Our client, a sales and procurement firm delivering engineering solutions to manufacturing and industrial sectors, is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to accelerate sales growth, develop new business, and provide technical solutions to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales, revenue, profitability and market‑growth targets for industrial products, machinery parts and lubricants.
• Prospect new customers, conduct site surveys, product demonstrations, attend exhibitions and negotiate contracts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate technical products and solutions.
• Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle and maintain accurate sales reports and market intelligence.
• Deliver a minimum 30% gross contribution and continuously expand product and technology knowledge.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of proven experience in industrial or technical sales, especially with machinery parts, compressors, pumps, valves, conveyors, belts, bearings or lubricants.
• Background in a manufacturing or engineering company with a strong record of sales performance.
• Experience selling to FMCG, Food & Beverage, Construction, Cement or related industrial sectors.
• Excellent negotiation, customer‑relationship and business‑development skills.
• Technical mindset combined with strong business acumen, ambitious, proactive and target‑driven.
