Senior Network and Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Network and Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure enterprise networking infrastructure for our clients in Nigeria. The role involves hands‑on configuration of firewalls, switches, routing, and wireless solutions while ensuring robust security controls.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure enterprise firewalls, core and access switches, routing and wireless infrastructure.
• Implement network segmentation, access controls, and secure administration according to approved designs.
• Configure SD‑WAN, secure VPN connectivity, and ensure resilient connectivity across multiple service providers.
• Apply network access protection, QoS, multicast controls, including 802.1X, DHCP snooping, dynamic ARP inspection, and IGMP where required.
• Integrate network and security telemetry with monitoring systems; investigate faults and security events.
• Test failover, throughput and security controls; maintain firmware, configuration backups, diagrams and change records.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of enterprise networking and network‑security experience.
• Proven experience with next‑generation firewalls, redundant switching and resilient network connectivity.
• Strong knowledge of routing, VLAN, VPN, SD‑WAN, QoS, wireless and multicast technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex connectivity and security issues in large‑scale environments.
• Excellent technical documentation skills and disciplined change, access and incident management.
