Senior Manager – Regulatory Affairs (Africa)

About the role

Monster Energy is seeking a Senior Manager – Regulatory Affairs to lead complex regulatory initiatives across African markets. You will act as the senior technical authority, guiding product launches, ingredient registrations and labeling compliance in a fast‑moving FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regulatory scoping for new and existing African markets, defining compliance requirements for product launches.
• Resolve non‑standard regulatory challenges and engage with authorities to secure approvals.
• Provide technical direction on labeling, artwork, claims and overall compliance strategy.
• Collaborate with global project teams, operations, bottlers, consultants and regulatory bodies to integrate requirements.
• Develop and maintain scalable regulatory frameworks and cross‑market coordination processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in food and beverage regulatory affairs, especially within Africa.
• Proven ability to solve highly complex regulatory problems in ambiguous environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and influence across multiple markets.
• Excellent technical judgement and interpretation of food/beverage regulations.
