Senior Architect

About the role

Swift Consulting is seeking a Senior Architect to lead and manage architectural projects from concept through completion in Lagos. The role involves delivering innovative, functional designs that meet client requirements while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects, overseeing concept development, design, and delivery.
• Prepare and review drawings, plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Supervise junior architects and design team members, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with approved designs.
• Review construction drawings for accuracy and adherence to project specifications.

Required profile

• BSc/BA in Architecture (MArch preferred) and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Professional registration with ARCON is an advantage.
• Proven experience managing architectural projects and leading design teams.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction processes and design principles.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
