About the role
Join Qatar Airways' Ground Services team in Port Harcourt, Nigeria as a Senior Airport Services Agent. You will deliver high‑quality passenger service across check‑in, boarding, lounges and baggage handling, ensuring compliance with commercial and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain constant liaison with check‑in, transfer desk and related areas to ensure smooth passenger acceptance.
- Support the Airport Services Supervisor and coordinate with GHA for efficient hotel and transfer passenger processing.
- Escort and direct arriving and departing passengers to hotels, visa counters, premium lounges, boarding gates and other airport facilities.
- Assist the duty officer with handling company material and records.
- Provide passengers with guidance on entry requirements, visas and residence permits.
- Ensure passengers move smoothly through all airport facilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned to maintain efficient airport operations.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer service and airport operations with a leading airline.
- High energy, positive attitude and ability to thrive in a high‑pressure environment.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Legal right to live and work in Nigeria.
Required skills
- DCS (Departure Control System) experience.
- Knowledge of ticketing processes.
- Strong proficiency with Amadeus.
- Familiarity with airport operational systems.
