Security Officer (Access Control & Patrol)

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Security Officer to safeguard the premises of Woodbridge in Lagos. The role involves monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents to ensure a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor access and exit points, verifying visitors and deliveries.
• Conduct routine patrols and observe CCTV and other security systems.
• Identify and report suspicious activities, security breaches, hazards, or incidents.
• Enforce established security procedures and ensure compliance with safety and access rules.
• Maintain a high level of alertness and professionalism at all times.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and cooperate with management, law enforcement, and emergency responders.
• Keep accurate records of incidents, visitors, patrols, and handover reports.
• Maintain confidentiality and promptly escalate any matter that may compromise safety or security.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant security experience.
• Punctuality, integrity, and good communication skills.
• Sound judgment and ability to remain calm under pressure.
