Security Guard – Retail Bakery

About the role

We are looking for a vigilant Security Guard to protect our bakery premises in Lagos. You will ensure the safety of customers, staff, and assets while providing a courteous front‑of‑house experience.

Key responsibilities

• Control access to all areas, maintain visitor logs and direct visitors to the right departments.
• Welcome customers, monitor movement, and assist with basic information.
• Verify receipts and delivery documents, preventing unauthorized removal of bakery products.
• Patrol production, storage, office and parking zones, watching for theft, vandalism or fire hazards.
• Safeguard equipment, inventory and vehicles; verify authorisations for goods in and out.
• Record incidents, prepare daily security reports and cooperate with law enforcement when needed.
• Respond to emergencies, support evacuations and keep exits clear.
• Maintain professional appearance, respect confidentiality and follow all company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum vocational qualification.
• No prior experience or less than one year in a similar role.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in a fast‑moving retail environment.
