Sales Representative

About the role

Sakopower is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to lead and grow its solar inverter distribution network in Lagos. You will manage a sales team, build relationships with dealers and corporate partners, and drive revenue for our renewable energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and train the sales team to improve overall performance.
• Negotiate and close business deals with potential solar inverter dealers and corporate clients.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
• Supervise execution of the sales plan, monitor targets, and report performance to senior management.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis, devise marketing strategies, and enhance brand awareness.
• Oversee contract signing, implementation, and follow‑up to guarantee compliance.
• Collect, organize, and report sales data regularly, providing actionable improvement suggestions.
• Identify new customers, distributors, and partnership opportunities.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth sales operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Minimum three years of professional sales experience.
• Proven executive sales experience in the solar power energy sector (mandatory).

• Competitive salary ranging from NGN 150,000 to NGN 250,000 per month, negotiable.
