Sales Marketer / Sales Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Marketer / Sales Manager to drive the promotion and sale of building materials across Lagos. The role combines field marketing activities with direct sales to expand our customer base and achieve revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct sales and marketing activities within Lagos.
• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
• Promote and sell building materials to prospective and existing customers.
• Generate leads and convert prospects into paying customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, dealers, and other industry stakeholders.
• Follow up on leads, enquiries, quotations, and sales opportunities.
• Achieve assigned sales targets.
• Conduct market visits and identify new market opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Prepare regular sales and marketing reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building materials sales (minimum 3 years).
• Good knowledge of the Lagos building materials market.
• Strong sales, negotiation, communication, and networking abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads and close sales.
• Target‑driven, proactive and results‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to conduct field marketing activities across Lagos.
• Residence on Lagos Island or its environs.
• Previous experience in a sales management role is an advantage.

Required skills

What we offer

• NGN 200,000 monthly base salary.
• Performance‑based sales commission.
