Sales Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to join our professional pharmacy environment in Marina, Lagos. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling transactions accurately and providing friendly service while supporting the pharmacy team.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the POS system to process cash, transfer and card payments and issue receipts.
• Balance cash and transaction records at the end of each shift.
• Welcome customers politely, manage queues and direct product or medication queries to the pharmacist.
• Ensure correct pricing, quantities and transaction accuracy during checkout.
• Report any pricing or system issues promptly.
• Assist with basic stock reconciliation and keep the checkout area tidy.

Required profile

• Minimum OND qualification.
• Good numeracy and cash‑handling abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and integrity.
• Effective communication and customer‑service skills.
• Previous cashier or retail experience is an advantage.
• Residence in or around Ogba, Agege, Ikeja or nearby areas is preferred.
