Sales and Marketing Assistant

About the role

E‑direct is looking for a proactive Sales and Marketing Assistant to help grow occupancy, bookings and revenue across its accommodation, event, restaurant and bar services. You will work closely with the front‑office, events and operations teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing sales and marketing strategies to attract corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners and individual guests.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Support the planning and execution of promotional campaigns, events, special offers and social‑media initiatives.
• Prepare and distribute marketing materials, presentations, proposals and other promotional content.
• Manage customer enquiries, reservations and sales leads, converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases and activity reports.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Events, Operations and Finance teams to ensure excellent service.
• Attend networking events, exhibitions and business meetings to promote the company’s services.
• Assist in preparing sales reports, revenue forecasts and performance analyses.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education).
• No prior experience or less than one year in a similar role.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets and KPIs.
