Risk‑Based Project Performance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a senior professional to lead Risk‑Based Performance Management for major oil & gas projects. The role will coordinate between project teams and internal functions to ensure risks are identified, mitigated and performance targets are achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Project Performance Management (PPM) in all coordination activities between major projects and internal entities.
• Review planning, drilling work programs, FOPs work programs and other project schedules.
• Act as the focal point for aligning priorities with QA, Engineering, HSE, C&P, FOPS, Drilling, Tech Log and other stakeholders.
• Identify project‑related risks, propose mitigation measures and develop recovery plans.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for project risks, conduct risk assessments and create contingency plans.
• Support project managers in implementing risk‑management plans and maintain related documentation.
• Monitor and report risk exposure, risk‑burndown trends and support internal/external audits.
• Use Project Definition Rating Index to define milestones, scope changes and ensure performance KPIs consider risks and opportunities.
• Provide resources and process improvement support to project teams.
• Gather, share and institutionalise lessons learned across projects and with local contractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least ten (10) years of oil & gas technical experience covering onshore, offshore and deep‑offshore activities.
• Proven experience in risk‑based performance management and project coordination.
• Familiarity with PMBOK, PMP, Kaizen or Lean Management methodologies is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Experience using SAP.
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 (Monte‑Carlo simulation).
• Knowledge of Safran tools.
