Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at our Marina location in Lagos. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant activities to ensure smooth service and high guest satisfaction.
• Develop and enforce operational policies that improve efficiency and service quality.
• Monitor inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and resolve issues.
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff including waiters, chefs, and kitchen personnel.
• Create work schedules and assign duties to maximize productivity.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching.
• Manage budgets, revenue, and expenses to achieve profitability targets.
• Implement cost‑control measures and analyze sales trends for promotional strategies.
• Handle cash, payments, and banking transactions efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
• Develop loyalty programs and collaborate with marketing on events and new menu items.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BSC) minimum.
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar restaurant management role.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
