About the role
We are looking for a friendly and professional Restaurant Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests at our Lagos location. You will manage the flow of diners, handle reservations, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a courteous manner.
- Manage reservations, walk‑ins, and waiting lists efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Coordinate seating arrangements to maximise capacity and service flow.
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries professionally.
- Communicate table availability and guest needs to servers and management.
- Monitor the dining area to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception and waiting areas.
- Handle guest complaints promptly and escalate when necessary.
- Thank guests on departure and invite them to return.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification: Diploma.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar front‑of‑house role.
