Relationship Manager, Asset Management

About the role

We are seeking a Relationship Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for a diverse client base, ranging from retail investors to high‑net‑worth individuals and institutional entities. The role focuses on growing Assets Under Management by delivering tailored investment solutions and trusted advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, acquire, and onboard new retail, corporate, and institutional clients to increase AUM.
• Collaborate with the investment research team to present Portfolio Management services and Collective Investment Schemes.
• Maintain and deepen existing client relationships through regular performance reviews and goal alignment.
• Promote the AVA GAM Fixed Income Naira Fund and Fixed Income Dollar Fund.
• Provide high‑level investment advice across stocks, bonds, and money‑market securities.
• Prepare and deliver detailed asset‑management and performance reports to clients and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• BSc or HND degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relationship‑management experience in Asset Management, Wealth Management, or Private Banking.
• Strong quantitative aptitude and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to explain complex financial instruments such as Fixed Income, Eurobonds, and Equities in simple terms.
