About the role
The Regional Sales Manager will lead the Diagnostics Business Unit across the assigned region, driving revenue growth, market expansion, and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for delivering on quarterly and annual sales targets while ensuring accurate forecasting and high team productivity.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with national objectives.
- Lead, coach, and motivate Area Sales Managers and Executives to meet individual and collective goals.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase market penetration.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with key regional and national accounts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform strategy.
- Ensure accurate and timely sales forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Product teams on promotional initiatives.
- Oversee dealer and distributor performance and channel management.
- Provide continuous feedback, training, and performance reviews for the sales team.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, Life Sciences or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 7 years progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a regional or senior sales management role within diagnostics or medical equipment.
- Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership, people‑management and coaching abilities.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and communication skills.
- Experience in key account management and distributor/channel development.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools.
- Sales analytics expertise.
- Microsoft Office applications.
