Quantity Surveyor – Cost Control & Value Engineering

About the role

Harmony Gardens & Estate Development Limited is looking for a highly competent, analytical and commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to manage cost, commercial and contractual aspects of residential estate and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates and develop project cost plans and budgets.
• Prepare, review and update Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and verify quantities of completed works.
• Monitor actual project expenditure against approved budgets, track variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Review construction contracts, monitor contractor compliance and assess variation orders and change requests.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities through value engineering and recommend alternative materials or methods.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of quantity surveying experience in building construction, residential development or infrastructure.
• Proven experience preparing and managing Bills of Quantities and cost estimation.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, variations and change orders.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
