Project Management Engineer – EPCIC Projects

About the role

Oilserv Limited is seeking a Project Management Engineer to lead planning, coordination and execution of EPCIC engineering projects in the oil and gas sector. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, engineers and clients to ensure successful delivery of projects on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project plans, timelines and budgets in alignment with client expectations.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments and cost‑benefit analyses.
• Coordinate project activities, assign tasks, set priorities and monitor progress.
• Prepare engineering designs, drawings and specifications using CAD tools.
• Procure materials, equipment and services, manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Perform site visits and inspections to verify progress, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Track project costs, forecast expenditures and implement cost‑control measures.
• Manage documentation, permits and approvals ensuring completeness and compliance.
• Lead quality assurance and quality control activities on workmanship and installations.
• Provide technical guidance to team members and resolve engineering issues.
• Communicate project status, milestones and updates to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
• Apply project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Lean) to improve efficiency.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, manage changes and ensure successful project close‑out.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Proven experience in project engineering or construction management, preferably in oil and gas.
• Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles, codes and safety standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD) and engineering design tools.
• Experience using project management software such as Primavera and Microsoft Project.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies – Agile, Waterfall, Lean.
