Project Engineer – Lagos Island

About the role

Pinkkees HR-Consulting is looking for two experienced Project Engineers to join a reputable civil engineering and construction company on Lagos Island. The role involves planning, coordinating and supervising daily construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily construction activities on site.
• Ensure projects follow approved drawings, specifications, budgets and timelines.
• Monitor contractors, subcontractors, artisans, materials and equipment.
• Prepare work schedules, progress reports and project documentation.
• Track project milestones and address delays or technical challenges promptly.
• Interpret engineering drawings and enforce strict quality, health, safety and environmental standards.
• Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in civil engineering and construction project execution.
• Strong site supervision and project coordination experience.
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, quality control and HSE standards.
• Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• COREN registration or other relevant professional certification is an advantage.
• Candidates should reside within reasonable proximity to Lagos Island.
