Program Delivery Officer

About the role

The Program Delivery Officer will coordinate and oversee project activities to ensure timely delivery within the mining, energy and construction sectors. This role reports to senior management and works closely with contractors, suppliers and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project planning, scheduling and delivery, tracking milestones and managing risks.
• Maintain up‑to‑date project schedules, trackers, action registers and produce regular status reports.
• Facilitate procurement requests, monitor purchase orders, invoices and logistics to ensure timely material delivery.
• Evaluate contractor and vendor performance against agreed deliverables and timelines.
• Analyse project expenditures, variations and resource utilisation, ensuring compliance with quality, HSE and regulatory requirements.
• Engage stakeholders, resolve issues, and drive project close‑out activities including handover and lessons‑learned documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in project coordination, delivery or administration within infrastructure, construction, oil & gas or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, scheduling, reporting and controls.
• Familiarity with procurement, logistics and contractor coordination processes.
