Professional Driver – Full-time

About the role

We are looking for a reliable full‑time driver to join our team in Lagos. The role involves transporting goods safely, maintaining the vehicle, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Follow assigned schedules and routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and properly maintained.
• Adhere to traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods or equipment as needed.
• Plan routes to avoid traffic delays and improve efficiency.
• Respond to emergencies, accidents, or breakdowns and report incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE/High School Certificate.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• At least 12 months of professional driving experience.
• Good knowledge of local routes, road networks, and traffic regulations.
• Strong communication, time‑management and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Vehicle inspection and routine checks.
• Route planning and navigation.

What we offer
