Product Manager - Alternative Channels

About the role

Renmoney is expanding its financial services beyond the mobile app by building alternative channels that bring banking, lending and embedded finance to every corner of Nigeria. As the Product Manager for Alternative Channels, you will act as the CEO of this business line, owning strategy, roadmap and commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Define and champion a product vision for agent banking, POS acquiring, distribution‑led lending and BaaS partnerships.
• Own the P&L, set pricing, revenue targets and manage costs to ensure profitability.
• Lead end‑to‑end product development from ideation through launch, iteration and retirement.
• Design and enhance agent platforms (mobile & USSD), POS merchant solutions, credit products for partner distribution and API suites for embedded finance.
• Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking and customer research to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering and compliance teams to drive acquisition, activation and regulatory adherence.

Required profile

• Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and experience managing a product portfolio.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and deliver profitable growth.
• Understanding of financial services regulations and risk management.
• Experience in fintech or financial inclusion initiatives is preferred.
