Procurement and Logistics Lead

About the role

The Procurement and Logistics Lead will oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and movement of all fabrics, trims, accessories, and packaging needed for production. This role ensures materials are available on time, maintains supplier relationships, and guarantees accurate stock records.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase fabrics, trims, accessories, and packaging for production.
• Source reliable suppliers, negotiate pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Obtain management approval for each purchase and compare quotations.
• Maintain complete purchase records, including quotations, invoices, receipts, and delivery notes.
• Inspect incoming materials, report shortages or damages promptly.
• Ensure all required materials are received before production starts.
• Maintain accurate stock records for raw materials and finished garments.
• Issue materials to production according to the cut plan and track usage.
• Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies.
• Manage packaging and dispatch of completed orders, liaising with couriers and tracking consignments.
• Report stock levels, price movements, supplier performance, and low‑stock alerts to management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or stock control, preferably in fashion, textiles, or manufacturing.
• Practical knowledge of fabrics and trims with ability to assess quality on delivery.
• Strong negotiation skills and proven supplier sourcing approach.
• Meticulous record‑keeping and accountability for stock and expenditures.
• Experience coordinating deliveries and managing courier or logistics partners.
• High integrity and transparency in handling company funds and inventory.

• Spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel) for inventory and financial tracking.
