Powder Packaging Machine Operator

About the role

The Powder Packaging Machine Operator is responsible for running and monitoring powder packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment. You will ensure accurate filling, weighing, and sealing of powdered products while meeting production targets and maintaining safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor powder packaging machines throughout production shifts.
• Set up and adjust machines according to product specifications and packaging requirements.
• Load packaging materials such as pouches, bags, labels, and films.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of the equipment.
• Check packaged products for correct weight, sealing, labeling, and overall quality.
• Record production quantities, rejected items, material usage, and any machine issues.
• Report faults, breakdowns, or production problems to Maintenance or Production Supervisors.
• Assist with machine changeovers when switching products or packaging sizes.

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 years of experience operating packaging machinery.
• A degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, or food technology).
• Mid‑level professional with proven ability to meet production targets.
