Operations Manager

About the role

ZICS, a metal fabrication and furniture company, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day activities, drive revenue targets and ensure the organization meets its monthly, quarterly and annual goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures from the ground up.
• Provide leadership to teams and promote a culture of excellence and discipline.
• Oversee revenue targets, planning, budgeting, execution and reporting for each department/unit.
• Ensure regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed.
• Monitor and evaluate KPI’s of teams and advise on key areas to improve.
• Assist in recruitment, training and performance management of employees.
• Collaborate with teams and departments to achieve the organization's short‑term and long‑term objectives.
• Develop and implement strategies to keep the company competitive and deliver excellent service.
• Perform any other function as directed by the CEO.

Required profile

• Very strong background in engineering, metal fabrication and wood works.
• Knowledge of project management software and ERP tools.
• Minimum HND or bachelor’s degree with 3‑5 years of experience.
• Proven work experience as an Operations Manager or similar role.
• Understanding of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
• Familiarity with business and financial principles.
• Excellent communication skills.
