Product Engineer – Electronics

About the role

A Product Engineer at ZICS will design commercial electronic products and oversee their manufacturing processes. The role works closely with product development teams to turn concepts into market‑ready items, ensuring quality, safety and efficiency throughout production.

Key responsibilities

• Create rough product designs using sketches and computer‑aided software.
• Conduct theoretical testing on design models and develop full product specifications.
• Select appropriate materials and design the manufacturing process.
• Oversee assembly, ensuring compliance with market specifications and safety regulations.
• Conceptualize new product ideas using CAD software and fabricate prototypes for testing.
• Fine‑tune designs, deliver specifications to the manufacturing team, and develop quality‑control criteria.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Product Engineer or in a similar engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and quality‑control protocols.
• Experience with 3D modeling software and report‑writing tools.
• Robotics Process Automation (RPA) experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering (preferred).
