Network Cloud Engineer

About the role

The Network Cloud Engineer will operate and enhance secure, highly‑available computing platforms, servers and networks for the organization. You will ensure reliability, performance and continuous improvement of both on‑premises and cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and provide Level 2/3 support for switched, wireless and remote‑access networks.
• Administer enterprise‑wide WAN, including Cisco routers, next‑generation firewalls and unified threat management systems.
• Manage voice infrastructure, deliver Level 2 support and advise on upgrades.
• Coordinate with internet/voice service providers, handling escalations and capacity planning.
• Operate AWS cloud resources (EC2, Linux/Windows instances, snapshots, SDN) and define security controls.
• Integrate cloud and on‑premises networks with partners and third‑party services.
• Mitigate security risks, ensure compliance with best practices, and perform periodic health checks.
• Provide technical expertise to the Help Desk and collaborate with legal on service contracts.
• Support project teams with infrastructure requirements and any other tasks assigned by the Head of IT.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Professional certifications preferred: CCNP/CCDP, MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
• Experience in user support is a plus.

Required skills

• Cisco routing and firewall configuration (CCNP/CCDP).
• Microsoft server technologies (MCSE).
• AWS services: EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation.
• Network design, implementation and administration, including VPN and Unified Threat Management.
• Voice infrastructure management.
• Security principles for cloud and on‑premises environments.
• Strong troubleshooting of complex network and infrastructure issues.
