Marketing Accounting Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Marketing Accounting Assistant to support both our marketing and finance teams. This role ensures accurate tracking of marketing expenses, invoices, and financial documentation while assisting with campaign reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and accounting support to marketing and finance teams.
• Prepare, process, and maintain marketing‑related invoices, payment records, and financial documents.
• Monitor marketing budgets, expenses, and expenditures for proper tracking and reporting.
• Maintain accurate records of marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and related costs.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, expense summaries, and performance analysis for marketing activities.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments regarding marketing projects, payments, and documentation.
• Support the preparation of quotations, purchase orders, and contracts related to marketing activities.
• Track sales and marketing performance data and prepare relevant reports.
• Maintain organised filing systems for accounting and marketing documents.
• Provide administrative support for marketing campaigns, events, and promotional initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and documentation requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or marketing administration.
• Background that bridges both marketing and finance is highly preferred.
• Must be based in Lagos and available to work fully on‑site.
