Logistics and Haulage Manager

About the role

The Logistics and Haulage Manager is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers while establishing robust management reporting and key performance indicators to drive customer satisfaction. The role works closely with production and sales teams to align deliveries with corporate objectives on quality, cost and time, and provides regular feedback to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
• Implement detailed management reporting and KPI tracking.
• Maintain vehicle roadworthiness and monitor vehicle efficiency.
• Develop and enforce systems that guarantee customer satisfaction and product availability.
• Lead and guide the logistics and transport team, fostering an environment for achieving objectives.
• Oversee departmental staff to ensure effective performance of duties.

Required profile

• Willingness to work both in the office and off‑site, including occasional odd‑hour shifts.
• Readiness to conduct periodic vehicle spot‑checks and travel as needed.
• Strong leadership qualities with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
