Key Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to lead corporate and fleet sales for a leading automobile organization in Lagos. The role involves building strategic relationships with corporate clients, government agencies, dealerships and other key partners to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and expand relationships with corporate organisations, government agencies, fleet operators and dealerships.
• Identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities to meet sales and revenue targets.
• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, presentations, negotiations, contract documentation, payment follow‑up, vehicle delivery and after‑sales support.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotations and business presentations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Inventory and After‑Sales teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to uncover growth opportunities.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts, account reports and business updates.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards and approved sales processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in key account management, corporate/fleet sales or business development within the automobile industry.
• Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with CRM systems (preferred).
