Inventory & Warehouse Manager

About the role

Moniepoint Inc is seeking an Inventory & Warehouse Manager to oversee the accurate, timely, and secure management of all Point‑of‑Sale (POS) inventory, including terminals, spare parts and work tools. The role ensures operational continuity by establishing robust procedures for inventory control, flow, and auditability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain inventory control procedures to achieve high accuracy between physical stock and system records, conducting regular cycle counts and audits.
• Oversee daily movement of POS terminals and parts, ensuring faulty units are sent to technicians and repaired units are received from QA with proper verification.
• Analyze inventory data to forecast demand, set reorder points, maintain safety stock, and minimize stock‑outs and excess inventory.
• Implement and manage inventory management systems to improve visibility, traceability and operational efficiency, driving continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Supervise, train and mentor inventory staff, ensuring compliance with procedures and best practices.
• Coordinate with procurement, partnerships, DNS, repair teams and third‑party logistics partners to align inventory levels with operational needs.
• Prepare regular performance reports covering turnover rates, accuracy, carrying costs and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in inventory and warehouse management, preferably in a technology‑driven environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor a team.
• Excellent analytical abilities to interpret inventory data and drive optimisation.
• Effective communication and coordination skills for cross‑functional and vendor relationships.
