Igbo Language Educator (Remote)

About the role

Alamoja Languages LTD is seeking passionate native or fluent Igbo speakers to deliver engaging online classes for absolute beginners. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere while contributing to the preservation and promotion of the Igbo language.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver interactive Igbo language lessons to groups and individual students.
• Facilitate cultural activities and provide 1:1 support to enhance learning.
• Develop, update, and align lesson materials with curriculum standards.
• Assess student progress, give constructive feedback, and monitor attendance.
• Collaborate with the Academic Operations Team to report insights and ensure policy compliance.
• Utilize LMS and digital teaching tools effectively for remote instruction.
• Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native proficiency in spoken and written Igbo.
• Strong passion for teaching beginners and promoting Igbo culture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Professional attitude with a commitment to student success.
