Home Tutor for JSS 1 Student – Math, English & Science

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated home tutor to support a male JSS 1 student, Osi, in Lateef Jakande, GodHomes Estate, Oke‑Ira Ajah. The tutor will deliver lessons in Mathematics, English Language and Basic Sciences, following the Nigerian curriculum, and help the student prepare for his upcoming Common Entrance Exam.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 3 hours of focused instruction each Saturday and Sunday, starting at 11:00 AM.
• Cover the core topics of General Mathematics, English Language and Basic Sciences.
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching methods to keep the student motivated and on track.
• Ensure the student is ready for the General Home Lessons and the Common Entrance Exam.

Required profile

• Experience tutoring JSS‑level students, preferably in the Nigerian education system.
• Ability to teach both academic content and exam preparation strategies.
• Flexible to work weekends at the client’s home.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the Nigerian JSS curriculum for Mathematics, English and Basic Sciences.
