Head of Operations

About the role

Feed Avenue Ltd is looking for a senior‑level Head of Operations to lead its industrial manufacturing footprint, plant production and logistics network in Ogun State, Nigeria. The role combines responsibility for day‑to‑day industrial output, plant start‑ups, supply‑chain management and nationwide fleet coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Drive daily industrial production outputs and ensure operational efficiency across the feed manufacturing plant.
• Lead plant commissioning, start‑up workflows and scale‑up projects.
• Manage nationwide distribution, fleet operations and relationships with transport providers.
• Oversee complex inventory, warehousing and raw‑material procurement processes.
• Plan and execute large‑scale industrial projects, including budgeting and resource allocation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Agribusiness, Food Science/Technology, Industrial/Production Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive, hands‑on experience in industrial operations, manufacturing logistics or production management.
• 4–5 years in a senior management or directorial role.
• Deep experience in animal feed production, milling, agro‑processing or FMCG food manufacturing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian inland logistics networks, port clearing and domestic haulage.
