Head of Finance

About the role

Spurt Solutions is seeking a Head of Finance to lead its financial function in Lagos. The role will shape financial strategy, oversee budgeting, cash management and support the company’s rapid growth in the entertainment and events sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic financial plans aligned with corporate growth objectives.
• Lead annual and quarterly budgeting cycles, multi‑year revenue forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Assess financial viability of new revenue streams, products, partnerships and events, and design pricing and margin models.
• Maintain accurate cash‑flow forecasts, monitor liquidity and optimise cash conversion processes.
• Control operating expenses, strengthen cost‑approval procedures and evaluate ROI of major initiatives.
• Prepare investor‑ready financial models, manage data rooms and support fundraising activities.
• Oversee invoicing, collections and vendor negotiations to minimise revenue leakage.

Required profile

• Senior‑level finance professional with at least 10 years of experience.
• Proven track record in strategic financial planning, budgeting and cash‑flow management.
• Experience in revenue modelling and commercial finance within fast‑moving businesses.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
