Group Project Manager

About the role

The Group Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, execution and delivery of strategic projects across the Group’s subsidiaries and business units. The role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards while providing senior management with clear visibility of progress, risks and resource needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, define scope, timelines, milestones and resource requirements for approved Group projects.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, consultants, contractors and vendors to ensure effective project execution and delivery.
• Monitor project performance against plans, manage budgets, track costs and report financial status.
• Maintain risk and issue registers, develop mitigation plans and escalate critical matters to senior management.
• Prepare regular status reports for Group Management, highlighting progress, risks, dependencies and decisions required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of project management experience, preferably managing multiple projects across subsidiaries or locations.
• Proven experience in project scheduling, budgeting, risk management and executive reporting.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, contractors and vendors on capital, infrastructure or technology projects.
