Fuel Loading and Logistics Officer

About the role

Dangote Industries Limited is seeking an experienced Fuel Loading and Logistics Officer to manage the end‑to‑end supply chain of AGO/fuel. The role ensures efficient movement, accurate inventory, and strict compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Track fuel movement, reconcile received and dispatched volumes, and maintain accurate stock records at storage facilities.
• Coordinate timely loading of AGO from the refinery, ensuring schedule adherence and volume accuracy.
• Monitor tank levels, metering accuracy, and enforce loading safety protocols in line with HSE policies.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly logistics reports, identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with finance for invoice verification, with IT to optimise logistics tracking tools, and with corporate clients to address queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in oil & gas logistics and loading operations.
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations, refinery protocols and inventory documentation.
• Proven ability to communicate with refinery staff, transporters and regulatory bodies.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on process optimisation.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HSE and refinery safety standards.
• Experience with inventory reconciliation and documentation control.
• Ability to generate logistics performance reports.
