Fuel Loading and Logistics Officer

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Fuel Loading and Logistics Officer to coordinate the supply chain processes for AGO/Fuel at our Ibeju Lekki facility. The role involves planning, organizing and monitoring transportation, inventory and distribution activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Track fuel movement, reconcile received vs. dispatched volumes and maintain accurate stock levels at storage facilities.
• Ensure adherence to HSE policies, refinery regulations and loading safety protocols; conduct risk assessments and loss‑prevention measures.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly logistics reports, identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
• Oversee efficient and timely loading of AGO from the refinery, ensuring schedule compliance and volume accuracy.
• Coordinate with refinery staff, transporters and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth operations.
• Identify and resolve loading bottlenecks, improve turnaround times and enhance overall efficiency.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients and identify upsell opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND from a reputable institution.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in oil & gas and logistics.
• Proven experience in loading operations coordination and compliance & safety management.
• Strong inventory and documentation control skills.
• Effective stakeholder and team communication abilities.
• Problem‑solving and process‑optimization mindset.
