Front Desk Officer

About the role

The Front Desk Officer will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients and guests at Divine Services. This part‑time role involves managing communications, scheduling appointments and providing accurate information about the organisation’s services. The position is based at the Marina office in Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist visitors, clients and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer, screen and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
• Schedule appointments and meetings and maintain calendars.
• Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized and presentable.
• Handle inquiries and provide accurate information about the organisation’s services.
• Receive, sort and distribute mail, packages and deliveries.
• Maintain records, files and visitor logs.
• Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as required.
• Coordinate with different departments to ensure efficient communication and service delivery.
• Monitor office supplies and request replenishment when necessary.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum of an HND qualification.
• At least 1 year of previous experience in a similar front‑desk or administrative role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality.
