Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance and accounting function for our manufacturing operations in Lagos. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, cost control and ensuring compliance with Nigerian regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day finance and accounting activities.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and management accounts.
• Develop, monitor and report on budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
• Analyse financial performance, manufacturing and production costs, and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, receivables and payables.
• Ensure proper financial controls, accounting procedures and compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and monitor financial risks.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement and production teams to improve cost efficiency.

Required profile

• BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• ACA or ICAN qualification (mandatory).
• 5–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax, statutory requirements and accounting standards.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with accounting/ERP software.
