Finance & Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Finance & Accounting Manager to lead financial operations for a modern water production factory in Asaba. The role combines strategic budgeting, tax compliance, and internal control responsibilities to support business growth and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all finance and accounting functions.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations and tax obligations, applying the New Tax Reform Act.
• Manage VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT and other statutory remittances accurately and promptly.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and reporting systems.
• Provide timely financial reports and strategic insights to management.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and inventory valuation.
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and statutory submissions.
• Support management decision‑making with accurate financial analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• ICAN or ACCA certification (or active progression) is a strong advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong practical understanding of the New Tax Reform Act and tax compliance processes.
• Sound knowledge of IFRS, financial controls and audit coordination.
• High level of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail.
