Facility Electrician

About the role

The Facility Electrician will work full‑time on‑site at CMB Building Limited’s residential and commercial estates in Lagos State, Nigeria. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable operation across all properties.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in both residential and commercial buildings.
• Perform routine inspections, diagnose electrical faults, and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Ensure all work complies with local safety standards, regulations, and Nigerian electrical codes.
• Collaborate with facility management and technical teams to plan electrical work and support project execution.
• Maintain accurate records of completed tasks, recommend infrastructure improvements, and respond quickly to urgent maintenance requests.

Required profile

• Strong practical skills in electricity and electrical work, with the ability to work safely on residential and commercial systems.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in Electrical Installation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in facility or building electrical maintenance, preferably within real‑estate or property‑management environments.
• Awareness of local electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Lagos and respond to occasional after‑hours or emergency maintenance needs.
