Engineering Storekeeper – Spare Parts Management

About the role

The Engineering Storekeeper will manage the daily operations of the spare‑parts store for a fast‑growing beverage manufacturer. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking engineering spares and special tools while ensuring accurate inventory records.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of spare‑parts inventory, including receipt, storage, and issue.
• Monitor stock levels, trigger re‑orders, and avoid shortages or overstock.
• Document all transactions, receipts, issues, and returns in SAP PM.
• Inspect incoming parts for quality, manage returns of defective items.
• Organise storage areas according to 5S standards, keeping them clean, safe, and clearly labelled.
• Generate weekly and monthly inventory status reports for management.
• Collate and report spare‑parts purchase requirements with specifications and quantities.
• Support periodic MRP reviews and participate in safety activities.
• Perform regular stock‑counts and reconciliations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in production or maintenance, preferably in food & beverage.
• Technical education (NABTEB, WAEC Technical).
• Good knowledge of safety standards in engineering and production environments.
• Ability to read simple engineering manuals and collate autonomous maintenance data.
• Experience with engineering spare‑parts processes.

• SAP PM (basic functions such as notification and work‑order creation).
