Data Entry Officer – Hybrid (Rivers State)

About the role

The Data Entry Officer will ensure merchant and product information is accurately entered into the Moniebook platform, supporting fast onboarding and reliable reporting for retail customers across Rivers State. Working in a hybrid setting, you will collaborate closely with Onboarding Specialists and Account Managers to keep data clean and operational.

Key responsibilities

• Input, update and maintain merchant data, product catalogues, SKUs, pricing and inventory levels.
• Process bulk data imports from spreadsheets and CSV files, validating format and completeness before upload.
• Prepare merchant accounts for onboarding by populating required product, inventory and configuration data within agreed timelines.
• Review merchant‑submitted data templates, identify errors or missing fields and follow up for resolution.
• Conduct data quality checks, correct duplicates or outdated records, and flag anomalies for further action.
• Ensure all records follow Moniebook’s data standards and naming conventions.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with onboarding and account teams.
• Ability to meet tight timelines and maintain high accuracy rates.

Required skills

• Familiarity with spreadsheet tools and CSV file handling.
• Experience using data entry platforms or ERP systems.
