Data Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our rapidly expanding distribution company in Lagos. The role involves turning raw data from sales, inventory, and logistics into actionable insights that support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, organise, clean, and analyse data from various business operations.
• Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Analyse sales, inventory, distribution, customer, and operational data to identify trends and improvement areas.
• Create and maintain dashboards, spreadsheets, and data visualisations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide management insights.
• Collaborate with sales, logistics, inventory, and other departments to obtain relevant information.
• Identify data inconsistencies and ensure data accuracy.
• Perform other data‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Accounting or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in distribution, FMCG, retail, or logistics.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
