Contract Manager – Marine Services

About the role

The Contract Manager will oversee the delivery of marine support services for Smit Lamnalco in Nigeria, ensuring contractual obligations are met while maintaining client satisfaction and financial performance. This full‑time position requires close collaboration with clients, operational teams, and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure operations are performed professionally, efficiently and cost‑effectively.
• Maintain strong client relationships and guarantee full satisfaction of contractual obligations.
• Conduct regular performance review meetings against agreed parameters.
• Ensure safety, security and compliance with SLIMS, SHEQ and relevant regulations.
• Provide training, development and performance appraisals for shore staff, captains and chief engineers.
• Contribute to budgeting, monitor financial performance and ensure contract budgets are achieved.

Required profile

• Resident of Nigeria.
• Relevant marine operating experience with sea‑going experience as Master or Chief Officer.
• In‑depth understanding of the marine industry and terminal operations.
• On‑shore management experience.
