Content Associate – Football & Digital Engagement

About the role

We are seeking a football‑obsessed Content Associate to boost digital engagement on our platform. You will blend deep football knowledge with data‑driven insights to create and manage compelling content that keeps daily active users hooked.

Key responsibilities

• Populate, update, and maintain digital content using a Content Management System (CMS).
• Seed high‑engagement topics and hot takes in community forums to drive retention.
• Write crisp copy in both flawless English and authentic Nigerian Pidgin for local fans.
• Track content performance metrics, monitor user retention signals, and adjust strategies based on basic data analytics.
• Leverage AI productivity tools to scale research, content creation, and workflow efficiency.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, IT or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in digital content management, app administration, or content curation (talented entry‑level candidates welcome).
• Extensive knowledge of football history, tactics, global leagues and Nigerian fan culture.
• Excellent command of English grammar and natural mastery of Nigerian Pidgin.
