About the role
We are looking for a Commercial Bread Baker to join our bakery team in Lagos. The role involves preparing, mixing, shaping, proofing and baking a variety of breads while maintaining high quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, mix, shape, proof and bake different types of bread according to recipes.
- Maintain consistent quality, size, texture and taste of baked products.
- Follow production schedules, hygiene standards and safety procedures.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, monitoring temperatures and proofing times.
- Minimise waste of ingredients and finished products.
- Keep the production area clean, organised and safe.
- Collaborate with the bakery team to meet daily production targets.
- Report equipment faults, production issues or shortages to management promptly.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of experience in a bakery or similar food production environment.
- Entry‑level qualification (no formal degree required).
